Severe and Clear

Why do we compare and compete?!

Because there's a void on the inside and we feel incomplete,

Becoming rude, envious and jealous of how they look and speak,

Seeing them eat and reach their peak,

Everyone wanna be on top and not beneath,

All the while you see what you want,

But can't see that you have what you need,

Which only lead to hate and strife because of greed,

I'm grateful for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

The One to intercede,

Because I don't have to have or do much, but believe

with the faith of a mustard seed,

Some say He was just a prophet,

But He was so much more than that,

I can't speak for nobody else, but I wanna be ready when He come back,

Why is the Truth being suppressed and so overlooked?

When it's told by the enemy we're under attacked,

I don't know anyone else to speak on things and be so exact,

It's like the words Jesus spoke on peace and love is going on deaf ears

This place I'm at is stagnant and dark,

I don't wanna be kept here,

The Lord said His voice when He speak,

His people will hear,

Lost in times of chaos and confusion, so severe and clear...
